Discover handy garage door tips here
We don’t only repair your garage door - we help you get the best day-to-day performance out of it too! Our tips and tricks are an excellent source of information and advice.
Be mindful of the electricity-driven nature of your door opener
Remote-controlled or automatic garage door openers run on electricity so it is important to be careful not to expose them to moisture or water leaks. When doing garage door maintenance, our experts suggest doing a thorough inspection of possible leakage or instances of condensation that can lead to short circuiting.
Keep all tracks clean
Garage door rollers sit in tracks and slide through them moving the overhead door up and down. If the tracks are not clean, the rollers won't move rig, and will also make noise. The door might come off the tracks and you will need repair services.
Avoid replacing the bottom brackets yourself
The brackets at the bottom parts of the overhead door are connected with the garage door springs. If you try to adjust, loosen or remove them, they will cause accidents since the tension of the spring/cable system will be released. Leave bracket repairs to our notable technicians.
Keep the overhead garage door safe
Overhead garage doors fall if they are not maintained regularly. Give special attention to garage door springs, cables, the opener and tracks. Broken springs might cause the door to fall. The door might also fall if the garage door tracks are not adjusted properly.
