What is the best type of opener to get?
There are three main types of openers and which one to get is dependent on your budget, the level of noise that you’re comfortable with and the amount of time you’re willing to put in to maintain it. A chain-drive opener is the most affordable, but also the noisiest. A belt-drive opener is the quietest depending on its current. The screw-drive opener is not as noisy, but it may require more maintenance than the its counterparts.
Can I set the lights to turn off faster?
The lights of your garage door opener are set to remain on for about four minutes since this is how long people take to get out of their car and enter their homes but you can change that easily by the panel.
